Canesten Products

Although it can be uncomfortable, the good news is that mild and moderate thrush can be easily treated with our range of products that don’t need a prescription. Just treating the itchiness with thrush cream won’t get rid of your infection so don’t forget to treat your thrush at the source, ideally with a combination treatment. Treatments should, therefore, do two things:

  • Soothe the uncomfortable external symptoms (itchiness and soreness)
  • Clear the internal infection caused by candida albicans

Canesten Combi

Canesten Combi

An ideal and convenient combination for treating thrush both internally and externally.  The 500mg Pessary works right at the site of the infection and clears the internal candida in just one application. The 10g tube of double strength Clotrimazole cream * provides immediate relief of the external itching and soreness. The cream should be used two or three times a day until the symptoms disappear. The cream can also be used to treat your partner to prevent reoccurrence.

Canesten 500mg Pessary

Canesten 500mg Pessary

The 500mg Pessary treats the internal infection only. The pack includes one 500mg pessary and one applicator for a single treatment. This single dose pessary works right at the site of infection and clears the internal candida infection.

Canesten Thrush Cream

Canesten 2% Thrush Cream

This double strength Clotrimazole cream * provides soothing relief from external itching in the vulva area. It should not be used alone, as external creams do not treat the cause of the infection. Vaginal Thrush should be treated both internally and externally. The cream can be used for treating your partner to prevent reinfection.
